Introduction

The Soil and Fertilizer Testing Laboratory in Pokhara, Kaski District of Gandaki Province is the only soil testing laboratory in Gandaki Province. In the past year, 2052 BS, a regional soil testing laboratory was established in Khairenitar Tanahun, which was later transferred to Pokhara and transformed into a regional soil testing laboratory, Pokhara, and now with the implementation of federalism, this structure has assumed the form of soil and fertilizer testing laboratory, Gandaki province.Soil and Fertilizer Testing Laboratory, Pokhara has been testing soil and fertilizer since the past days, for which not only the soil is tested in the laboratory, but the technicians of this laboratory also go to the houses of the farmers and conduct soil testing through soil camps. Farmers have been able to increase the effectiveness of their agricultural work sustainability and productivity through the proper implementation of fertilizer and agricultural lime recommendations given by the technicians to the farmers from the results of the soil test.
